Accessibility Statement.
How VELMORA LLC designs, builds, and tests velmoraseo.com so the largest number of people can use it — including people who use assistive technologies. Our target standard is WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
- We design and build to WCAG 2.2 Level AA, which is the recognized US (Section 508), EU (EN 301 549), and UK (PSBAR) baseline.
- The site is keyboard-navigable, screen-reader friendly, color-contrast tested, and respects reduced-motion preferences.
- We test with automated tools (axe, Lighthouse) and a manual NVDA / VoiceOver pass on every release.
- Found a barrier? Email accessibility@velmoraseo.com. We aim to fix within 14 business days.
Our commitment
VELMORA LLC is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. Accessibility is part of how we define “done” for every page we ship, and the same standard applies to the sites we build for clients.
Standards we target
We target the following standards in this order of precedence:
- Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA — the W3C standard adopted by most national accessibility laws.
- EN 301 549 v3.2.1 — the European harmonised standard, which incorporates WCAG 2.1 AA. Where WCAG 2.2 strengthens a criterion, we apply 2.2.
- Section 508 of the US Rehabilitation Act (Revised, 2018), which aligns with WCAG 2.0 AA.
- ADA Title III — we apply WCAG 2.2 AA as a good-faith conformance target.
Measures we take
- Semantic HTML5 first; ARIA only when native semantics are insufficient.
- Visible keyboard focus on every interactive element; logical tab order.
- Color contrast of at least 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text and UI components.
- Text resizable to 200% without loss of content or function; layouts reflow at 320 CSS pixels.
- Alt text on meaningful images;
alt=""on decorative images. - Captions/transcripts on all hosted video content.
prefers-reduced-motionrespected; non-essential animation disabled.- Forms with associated
labelelements, error messaging, and inline guidance. - Skip-to-content link as the first focusable element.
- Page
titleandlangdeclared; landmarks used throughout. - Automated checks (axe, Lighthouse, pa11y) on every CI build.
- Manual NVDA + Chrome and VoiceOver + Safari smoke test on every release.
Current conformance status
- Self-evaluation date
- Jan 17, 2026
- Method
- Combination of self-evaluation, automated tooling, and external audit.
- Most recent external audit
- Independent audit scheduled for 2026 Q3. Summary will be published here on completion.
- Status
- Partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Most content meets the standard; the limitations listed in § 5 are tracked for remediation.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, the following limitations exist. We are actively working to address each:
- Decorative ASCII glyph in the hero. Rendered as preformatted text. Marked
aria-hidden=“true”so screen readers skip it; visual users can still see it. - Marquee. The infinite scrolling band is decorative, aria-hidden, and pauses on hover and focus. It will be hidden entirely when the operating system reports
prefers-reduced-motion. - Pexels imagery. Some lifestyle images on the Work page use stylistic alt text. We're revising those alts to be more descriptive.
Alternative formats
If you need any information published on velmoraseo.com in a different format — large print, plain text, audio, braille, or a screen-reader optimized version — email accessibility@velmoraseo.com. We provide alternatives free of charge, typically within 5 business days.
Third-party content
Some functionality on velmoraseo.com depends on third-party services (e.g., embedded forms, video). We choose vendors with documented accessibility commitments, but we cannot guarantee third-party content meets WCAG 2.2 AA. If you encounter a third-party barrier, contact us and we will work with the vendor or replace the component.
